The Allen 2000 series range of engines is available in 4-, 6-, 8- and 9 cylinder configurations and has established an international reputation for reliability and fuel economy. Moderate speed, 720 - 1,000 rpm, and BMEP ratings of 480 to 1,500kWe ensure minimal thermal and mechanical stresses. This allows for long running times between overhauls in extreme load and climate. Also available is a turbo-charged dual-fuel option for operation on biogas.
